I Cannot Lose My Pastors Blessing!

Greetings friends and brothers and sisters of this great Hillcrest Church
family, I hope this has been a special week for you all. Today I want to
share something that has been a great experience here at Hillcrest Church
and that now I¹m not able to enjoy as the Pastor for the Hispanic Church,
since I cannot be at both services at once.
What am I speaking of? I¹m speaking about the significance for a
congregation to receive the blessing of their pastor at the conclusion of
each Sunday or Wednesday service or any other occasion.
Personally, I enjoyed 2 very special moments here at Hillcrest on Sundays.
One was when the elders and pastors would go up front for the prayer rails
time. I would go up front and every time that I was prayed for, I would
return to my seat with something different in my heart, with strength, with
more faith, with more joy.
The other special moment that I enjoyed a lot was when at the end of the
service, Pastor Mark would ask us to lift up our hands and he would do the
same, and he would speak the blessing of Numbers 6:24-27 over us.
I can still remember when he would say:
³The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and
be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace²
Friends, there is great significance in the pastor speaking a blessing over
you and I encourage you to wait for that moment, don¹t leave before that
blessings, everything thing else can wait a few more minutes. When it comes
to the pastors blessing you need to receive it, you need to appreciate it
and you need to know that it is God through your pastor depositing in your
heart everything you need for the upcoming week.
Enjoy that moment this Sunday and I will assure you, your heart will be
grateful!

¡La Bendición De Mi Pastor No Me La Debo Perder!

Hola amigos y hermanos de esta gran familia Hillcrest Church, espero que
esta haya sido una semana muy especial para ustedes. Hoy quiero
compartirles algo que ha sido una bonita experiencia aquí en Hillcrest y que
ahora no la disfruto tanto porque soy el pastor de la Iglesia Hispana y no
puedo estar en los dos servicios a la misma vez.
¿De que les quiero compartir ? De lo significativo que es para una
congregación recibir la bendición de su pastor al terminar la reunión de
cada domingo o de cada miércoles según sea la ocasión.
Yo en lo personal disfrutaba dos momentos muy especiales aquí en Hillcrest
los domingos. Uno era cuando los ancianos y los pastores estaban al frente
y las personas pasaban para que oraran por ellos. Yo pasaba la frente y
siempre que oraron por mi regrese a mi silla con algo diferente en mi
corazón, con fortaleza, con mas fe, con mas gozo.
El otro momento que disfrutaba mucho era cuando al terminar el servicio
dominical el Pastor Mark nos pedía levantar las manos y el mismo las
levantaba y pronunciaba sobre la congregación la bendición de Números 6:24
al 27.
Todavia puedo recordar cuando el decia: ³The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn
his face toward you and give you peace²
Hermanos hay un gran significado en la bendición del pastor y le animo a
esperar ese momento, no se vaya antes de ser bendecido, cualquier cosa puede
esperar unos minutos mas. Cuando se trata de la bendición del pastor usted
debe recibirla, usted debe apreciarla y usted debe saber que es Dios a
través de su pastor poniendo en su corazón a través de esa bendición, todo
lo que necesitara en la semana.
¡Así que disfrute ese momento hoy domingo y de seguro que su corazón se lo
agradecerá!
